To receive the location of a phone number, the recipient must click the link. Here’s the good news:
- 71% of receivers click the link
- 37.5% of those who clicked the link, shared their location
So how can you make sure they click the link? While there’s no foolproof method, we’ve got some tips.
Tip #1: Take advantage of unlimited searches. Remember, it’s part of your subscription, so play around using your own number and see how it works.
Tip #2: We recommend limiting your location requests to 1 request every 3 hours per number.
Tip #3: Pick a message that’s likely to be clicked. Remember, you can choose a predetermined message. Or you can create your own if you think a custom message will be more successful.
Tip #4: Try a custom message. For example, if you’re trying to locate Michael, try writing, “Michael, here’s a code for 50% off your favorite shoes.”
Tip #5: Don’t be discouraged if your first message isn’t clicked. Just try a few more and see what happens.
